The Bushwackers are celebrating 45 years as an Australian music band in 2016 with a bunch of special Anniversary celebrations, kicking off at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January and the Port Fairy Folk Festival in March.
The Bushwackers remain the foremost performers of Australian heritage songs from the 1800’s to today. Irish flavoured with great lashings of musicality, Australian insight, humour and passion, the Bushwackers remain a force to be reckoned with in performance and songwriting. One of Australia’s most enduring bands, with three Golden Guitar Awards, 23 Studio Albums and 45 years playing music both in Australia and internationally.
