The Bushwackers Gold Rush Show is the story of Australia’s roaring Gold Rush Days.
Touring in November 2014 to the towns of HORSHAM VIC, WARRNAMBOOL VIC & CESSNOCK NSW.
The Gold Rush
The Gold Rush conjures up images of thousands of men and women hell-bent on making their fortune. While some diggers made their pile of money it was a harsh time for many and the Bushwackers tell stories from both sides. The Bushwackers will take you back through a memorable night of music and history to the Eureka Stockade, the story of the flag and the first time Australians were called ‘diggers’ in a fight.
The Gold Rush Show
The Gold Rush Show brings together The Bushwackers’ much-loved repertoire of working songs such as; The Ryebuck Shearer, The Limejuice Tub and Flash Jack From Gundagai along with classic contemporary songs recorded by The Bushwackers, including I Am Australian and The Band Played Waltzing Matilda, Henry’s Men and Beneath the Southern Cross. Since their early days in the ‘70’s the Bushwackers have brought together great songs and fantastic musicians to countless numbers of fans around Australia and the world. They’ve just returned from Nashville’s Americana Festival and are excited about taking their Gold Rush Show on the road in 2014.
